Kill Switch update: Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Switch player here, how am I able to do this?

With a little over a thousand hours in DbD over the course of four years (not playing every day), and at least 80% of that on Switch (the other roughly 20% was on a low end laptop), I've been wondering something for a long time.

I've been dealing with the not 100% reliable framerate of the Switch for a long time for about two years. I feel like I have to work harder/smarter than other platforms to get the same results they can, and despite any frustrations that I get when having to put up with framerate issues likely costing me hits and downs, I'm still here playing it, and still getting kills. Not every match, but a good majority of them. I'm trying to figure out how in the heck I'm able to do it, maybe someone here on the forums might have an idea of what it is I'm doing that's enabling me to succeed.

For additional info, I mostly play killer since I find the role more engaging, and my main man is the face of the game, Trapper, he's the one I have the most Prestige/time invested in.

Playing Trapper is likely a large part of it.

His power is more strategy-based than dexterity, and being a basic "M1" killer besides his traps means your general gameplay is relatively 'simple' (not in a bad way, just less nuance than things like aiming with ranged killers, etc.)

Your success in any given game is likely mostly down to your trap placement, and the mistakes the survivors make around them.

That's not to say you don't also do well with other 'M1' killers, but I expect you don't do well with say, Nurse.

For a similar reason, I play console, and do amazingly well with killers like Dredge and Ghostface, but suck as all hell with ranged killers, or killers with fine-tuned aiming mechanics like Blight and Oni.

Might be the case. The only ranged killer I feel comfortable with playing is Huntress, though I mainly use a memey not very good build of STBFL, Iron Maiden, Agitation, and Brutal Strength dubbed 'Speedruntress', where the goal is to do everything faster.
