New Players

This isnt a post to new players but about them.

since the free weekend i decided to hop on my pc and play survivor on a brand new account and honestly i got mixed results. (also before people go straight to my throat about smurfing theres not a whole lot i could do ive been a strictly console player up to this point)

Since i was on a brand new acc i was paired with either really new players or very casual players however they usually did absolutely nothing and this didnt start getting better till i reached around silver

but i wasnt really struggling with the common issues such as eruption being too op or nurse and blight every match but more so people just not doing gens

this issue was actually so common that it became actually painful to play the game get a 3 minute chase to watch 1 gen get done while two other people are crouch walking across the map

there needs a penalization to survivors that arent doing gens and arent in chase for a decent amount of time

sandbagging was also really common and sad part was that its not even on purpose not only do they constantly miss skill checks so when they even breathe within feet of my gen i feel like i have to run the other direction

ontop of that they act like they wont run out of pallets and somehow in their 30sec chase theyd throw 3 god pallets creating many deadzones early on

constant dcs from new accounts was also very common unfortunately

no effective counter play, most of the new players dont know how to combat tunneling, camping, or with some killers as a whole either running in without a plan and going down quite fast which would usually lead to a dc or a suicide on hook

theres not a whole lot bhvr can do about this but bottom of the barrel mmr is really hard to crawl out of

overall it honestly could be worse i had a few games with some really solid survivors and escaped quite frequently there were just a few hiccups along the way
