Press windows+r, type in "appdata" and press enter

Local>DeadByDaylight>Saved>Config>WindowsNoEditor>GameUserSettings

MAKE SURE!!! that fullscreen mode is set to 1

It should look like this:

FullscreenMode=1

LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=1

PreferredFullscreenMode=1

This fixed the issue for me and should work for you too. Peace ✌

WARNING!!! ADDS A LOT OF INPUT LATENCY SO USE EXCLUSIVE FULLSCREEN IF YOU CAN!!!
