Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Reporting is useless - my experience with the world's most blatant cheater.

The other day, I was matched against a cheater, who removed his scratch marks the entire game and very blatantly sped up whenever he failed to win a loop. Here's the most egregious example, and one of two clips sent in the report.

If you somehow want to justify this with this perk or that, here's a picture of the postgame lobby and the perks within it. There is nothing to remove a player's scratch marks on any character, and he definitely doesn't have the ability to sprint burst on command by using dead hard.

Naturally, I reported him after the match was over - I assumed this was an open and shut case, and it was marked as solved in a couple of days... except, this same player was in another of my lobbies today. This was the response recieved before it was marked as "solved".

So the ticket was closed, and the player was not banned. The picture below is their steam profile which shows no game bans, which I checked after seeing them pop up in my lobby again... So I have to wonder what the point of going through the report process is - to be blunt, it seems to me the people in charge of reviewing report footage are clueless as to how the game functions if they can't spot an example this obvious.

Has anyone else experienced this? With the sheer number of cheaters in this game, I'm finding it hard to find the urge to keep playing, knowing there's nothing I can do about it.

Pretty sure they do bans in waves and not just individually, though don't quote me on that. I'd check again in a week-month if you really wanted to be sure they weren't banned.
