Eventually I would say it will migrate over, at least if the game is still making money in the next few years and so far that seems likely.

A lot of work is done automatically by the editor.
And the engine is more efficient. Instantiated static meshes would greatly benefit from it.
The devs have said they are upgrading the engine regularly. Sooner or later, it will be 5.x's turn.
