Report System is a Joke
I mean, I really shouldn't have to go into detail.
But for anyone not aware, the report system tracks the pre game lobby and end game lobby. Thats it. Whatever happens during the match means nothing, UNLESS you have video proof. 99% of us are not streamers or youtubers, we do not record gameplay or footage for 'content'. We simply load the game up and play. Hoping for some good matches.
But when you come across players either sandbagging their teammates, griefing as in slugging the 4th person for no other reason than they teabagged you once, etc..it feels pretty bad knowing you can do nothing about them because the game doesn't track what happens in a match, only before and after.
I just had a match where it was me and a Claudette, our other mates had just died. Against a Blight. She ended up doing the 3 remaining gens and I found out why pretty quickly, lol. The Blight just wanted me. Ran into the Claudette and she was pointing at me repeatedly. Killer noticed. Killer caught and killed me. Both just stood around me on hook, then he let the Claudette leave.
In end-game chat, Claudette boasted she wouldn't be banned, claiming she'll be 'waiting for a ban oh nooo', essentially confirming they know the report system is awful and they can get away with how they play.
Gonna be running Geforce in-game overlay before every match from now on, so I can report w/ video proof. Tired of schmucks getting away with playing like awful teammates and then bragging about it in end-game chat cause they know nothing will happen w/o video proof and most people don't record.

Doesn't sound like anything bannable to me.
Slugging the fourth person definitely isn't bannable. You can slug to your heart's content and no one is going to get banned, even with video evidence.
I don't think Claudette merely pointing at the hook and failing to unhook you is bannable, either. It's a dick move, sure, but unless she was actively helping the killer find you, I don't think it's illegal.
