Legion hate thread.
It's unfortunate that the devs decided to give the best chase music in the game to the lamest killer, Legion is worse to face than any other killer, even the strongest ones, and that's because they can stack slowdown and make games last forever. Every single match against them is either watching them lose in slow motion, or getting railed by an optimal Legion with all the nasty perks. The funny thing about the Legion though, is that they're actually really fun to play as, which of course means everyone plays Legion. If you play Legion and you live in NA, please just remove the CPU from your computer for the next few hours, I just want to be chased for once.

Any killer can stack slowdown. This is not unique to legion.

My favorite thing about playing against Legion is when I'm minding my own business working on a gen outside of their TR. I see some deep wounds happen, and I start running as soon as the TR begins to creep in. Unfortunately, I can't W away from them because they're moving at mach 12 after 3 Frenzy stabs. I get hit once by Frenzy and then hit a second time by Frenzy for an instadown. It's top tier gameplay. I feel like I have a ton of agency as a player in that situation. For instance, I can load up another game that doesn't have Legion.

This one speaks the truth. Running at breakneck speed, vaulting over obstackles and stabbing survivors left and right is the hight of fun gameplay, no matter that getting actually downs it pretty hard. I just enjoy the Need for Speed when playing Legion and their pretty cool selection of cosmetics.

The other day while soloqueueing I went against a slugging legion in shelter woods. Yes, slugging, with knockout, while in soloqueue. The game lasted 19 minutes, I don't even know how we managed to 4 man escape him, but it was really tight, one of my team mates had barely any life left on the slug bar, I'd say around 10 seconds at most. We had so much fun i turned off the game because there's just so much I can take in one gaming session. At that point I didn't even care about the fact that "we won" anymore, i feel like we left the game with everyone as loser. I honestly would've killed myself on hook, if only that killer actually hooked any of us

Legion is perhaps the most unfun Killer to face. Only one even close is Pinhead. Which is sad because he's very fun to play.
Sucks cuz he's weak too. Just an immensely poor design that should've been reworked.

Unless they're using Never-Sleep Pills + Mural Sketch, they generally can't reach you outside of their killer instinct range, assuming you hold w. I know it can be map dependent which is more of a map problem, but running away from them is effective and they can be looped the same as any other m1 killer. It is not very often that a Legion can down with their power as survivors spread out a lot against them. However, I do share the sentiment that games can be boring against a Legion when they run full slowdown, but I could say that about any killer (especially ones with higher mobility and map pressure than Legion).
I love how Hunk's animation looks as he chases me. It's oddly intimidating in a goofy way.

Ok? Other killers are fast too? Not sure what point you're trying to make. 5.8 m/s is fast relative to a survivor in a straight line. This like saying someone isn't tall if they're 6'4" because some other people are 6'8".

I'd take 10 games of Nurse, Artist and Doctor than a single game against Legion. Pinheads stinks as well though.

They don't make matches last forever if you'd stop healing to full every time they frenzied you, which is how you hand Legion a free win. Staying injured is better, because then Legion doesn't get double value of taking off an instant health state AND putting you into deep wound.
Love how most of this killer's critics just say "boring design" or "unfun" and call it a day. Thankfully that "mending simulator" catchphrase, which was created after the buff, has finally gone away. You don't have to mend if you stay injured and encourage the killer to M1 chase you, and if Legion still uses their ability on you while you're injured, you're probably winning that match.
The only thing I've seen with any constructive value is what @edgarpoop says, which is that Legion builds up to the 5th-hit down from your teammates grouping up, and they down you. But that's kind of the point of the buff, to give the killer with no lethality... lethality. And if you're gonna take that angle, would you also call Myers unfun because he gets stalk off of other people? Or BBQ/No Way Out, etc because your teammates got hooked?

Superfun to play with, close to the most perk variety in the game and pretty much garuantees lots of bloodpoints for everybody as long as you don't kill someone instantly

So imagine there's killer you think is fine, but you're just not gonna say anything simply because "it's a hate thread"? What is this logic? I take it this also means that if a survivor thing had a hate thread dedicated to it, you'd say the same thing? Or is it only killer stuff that isn't allowed to be defended?
And it's not a monologue if people are responding to it, especially with an equal number of words. If they're so tiresome, please just scroll past them.

One of the most obnoxious killers to go against. Mending simulator games are the essence of tedious. Such a poorly designed killer power.

To be honest, I'd rather get extremely 🍆'd by a Nurse than playing a Legion game. I have way more fun facing most killers in that list than against Legion.
Artist is very annoying, but I honest to God would rather face her than play against yet another Legion. I just can't stand matches against them, and it doesn't matter if his kill rate is literally -30 per match, their power is just depressing to play against.
They know where you are regardless of what you build, they come at you at 500% speed, they stab you and put you into mending then they just run away and go to stab someone else 10 seconds later on the opposite corner of the map. And there's nothing you can do about it. It is just so demoralizing.
The only other killer that I think it's just as unfun to play against as Legion is Clown, and it's not even his power's fault, it's just that Clown players are the most toxic and worst human beings in the face of Earth for some reason, no exceptions.

Artist is kinda the most annoying to me in that list, but I'd rather face her than face Legion. Seeing Legion pinball between survivors from corner to corner of the map at 500% speed is just demoralizing. You almost never have enough time to reach any loop to at least feel like you can outplay them, and if you do, they can just loop as fast as you can loop them anyways.
It doesn't matter what build you have, they know where you are thanks to killer instinct. There's nothing you can do to counter them in their power. You will get into mending state.
It doesn't matter if Legion has a 0% kill rate, it's just a terribly designed power. It's depressing to face and incredibly demoralizing. I'd rather face a good Nurse where I can at least try to see if I can outplay her rather than unavoidably get stabbed by Legion over, and over, and over, and over again...

Legion is a very unfun killer to verse in my subjective opinion.
There is not much more irritating than a killer you pretty much cannot avoid who can get cheap injures on you that forces you to repeatedly mend - a very tedious task.
Worse still for the Legion themselves, if survivors play smart and counter them they should split up all over the map and not waste time healing but rather gen rush instead. So Legions power kinda screws themselves over as smart survivors end up doing gens far faster, you get pressure split all over the map and your frenzy becomes useless for finding others as they are all working gens injured on opposite sides of the map.
Legion only really does good against solo queue players who insist on healing constantly and bunching up on gens and unfortunately this works a lot in solo queue in my experience.
Overall Legion may be less annoying than they used to be but not that much

In what universe Doctor is a bad killer go againts?
He's bottom tier and he's not that hard to counter.
Annoying?Not really,I never had an issue going againts a Doctor,I dont know why people say it sucks going againts him.
And how often does that happen?Almost never if your teammates play remotely at least decent.
Also after a survivor is killed,its literally impossible for them to get an insta down like that anymore.

Nah buddy this isn't the survivor exclusive hate table where you can hate on a killer you don't like.
This forum gets used by the devs to gather opinions from the player base and on basis of that feedback they think about what to change. We as killer have a right to give our opinions to cause if you belive it or not we have valid opinions to. Whats next do you go after survivor that defend legion or do the get just a killer main stamp on the forehead.

Yes, for example those where the two remaining survivors hold them hostage for 30 minutes straight by stealthing around. Happens way too frequently. But i probably wouldn't listen to *your* sob stories though

While I have many things to say about Legion, as someone that used to main them, the one thing about them that really bothers me is not from Legion at all:
It's really annoying when nearly every time a new killer is announced, people point to them and say "This is what Legion should have been". Happened with Knight, happened with Twins, I recall seeing it when Nemesis was new. I think even Trickster got that, and there are others where I simply don't recall precise examples.
Legion is about stabbing survivors. A lot. I get that the trailer for Legion made it look like they would pretend to be a survivor, or maybe have the ability to control the entire gang, but that's not what Legion is ACTUALLY built around. Legion is ACTUALLY built around stabbing people. In the very least, when bringing up ways to completely rework or rebuild them, try to focus on this. It's the actual point of the killer. Not "Well, I have this completely unrelated ability idea, so it should go on Legion".
Also, the fifth Frenzy hit is poop. It rarely happens, it's basically useless, but the fact that it even exists makes people come up with bizarre, made up scenarios where they say it worked on them. Have you tried, I dunno, not mending until you know Feral Frenzy is over? This would literally prevent them from being able to track you, much less landing a fifth hit. Imagine you're at home, and there is a mess on the stove top, and someone is like "Oh man I need to clean that up" but the stove top is still hot from cooking, so you're like "Hey, you should let it cooldown first before you put your hands on it" and they're like "NO NO NO I have to clean it now AAAAAAAAHIDHJIAWDJOA I GOT BURNED THIS STOVE SUCKS NERF THIS STOVE". Ya, that's you, if you're mending during Feral Frenzy.

Legion more unfun than any of those killers listed because matches are usually just insanely long mending simulators. I think this is what most people hate Legion for, not that they’re OP. For all the other killers you listed, the matches are usually going to be much shorter. I personally don’t find doctor or artist that difficult to deal with. Pinhead is awful in solo q, so probably my least favorite killer to face unless I’m in SWF. Nurse is only miserable to face if you’re going against a god-level player who is good at predicting your movements.

I have tried not mending during Frenzy.
My shrimp brained teammates haven't quite considered that yet and, subsequently, throw the match.
Also, boy do I love mending for the entire game. With how most Legion's play, it'd be faster to DC and eat the penalty than to sit through that match.

I mean, you're often one of the most sensible people on the forum, so if you didn't say anything, I'd just assume you didn't mend until after FF anyways. Also, ya, that's basically was solo teammates are for.
When I played Legion, I only ever used FF when I specifically SAW the survivors bunched up. Using it when I didn't know if I'd be running across the entire map seemed like a total waste. I don't know if I was just playing Legion wrong, or if I was big-braining it and most Legions just go "I HIT BUTTON GO BRRRRRRRRR". Based on everything I see said, though, it sounds like they just use Legions power willy-nilly, results be damned.

Yeah slowdown stacking isn't exclusive to Legion
I get why people find them boring, their power is either a free injury button on a single survivor or a "stabs you then runs away" button. I still love them though
I don't like caffeine pills legion though, I find that to be kinda ridiculous

Speaking seriously, I do do that but that's because I don't play Legion to win; I play Legion because going brrr is fun (and gives lots of BP). I quite often let the survivors go on Legion after just to compensate them for me acting like a meth-addicted hedgehog all match.

I would never do such a thing, but it is extremely tempting to go be productive with those 5 minutes and do a load of laundry or something rather than sit through a Legion game. Laundry is more fun.
