Out of curiosity in relation to Blight.
How many people on these forums have ever gone against iri-tag blight? I feel like it's the most under used strong add-on in the game, although tbf it's probably the hardest add-on to use in the game. Like I get c33 is just easier and alch-ring more fun but I have only ever seen it once from survivor pov. I myself use it vs 4 med-kits but only then.

Whoever thought blight needed an instadown was doing too much blight serum. That addon has next to no counter if the blight knows how to use it, and desperately needs a nerf alongside like all of his others. I suggest that it should reduce his movement speed while rushing for each rush, like a reverse blighted crow so there's a little more nuance to it rather than "bump four times j flick and instadown"

I like using Iri Tag, Alch Ring + Lethal, Infectious, Distressing and Deerstalker for... You know what 👀🤭

We've only seen the tag twice and only saw it get a down once. For most blights it's probably too impractical to use as many can or would get a down just as fast or faster by playing normally instead of trying to proc it.

In response to your question, care to answer mine first?
1) What is the % of Blights you come across till now that use that addon
2) Out of those Blights what is the % of Blights who can use it efficiently? guaranteeing a down 1st time
3) When it was used efficiently, did the survivors know how to counter it or just stood around like deer in headlights waiting to give him the hit?
Blight needs the last lethal rush to instadown, if survivors don't make it difficult, the Blight deserves the down.
Just because something is powerful doesn't mean it needs to be taken out when only a handful of players can effectively use it and usage is negligible

I mostly see:
Alc. Ring/Crow
Crow/Rat
Compound 33/Crow

First time I saw it I though the blight was hacking when he was instadowning everyone and I didn't know he had that kind of add on. He camped hook and when someone came to rescue he instantly pumped to activate it. He downed me at exit guarding there. I tried stupidly to run through and went down. It's very strong as long you know how to use it. I only got down with it myself when someone stood in the exit teabagging and thinking she was untoucheable.

Its a strong addon but a bit finicky since using 5 rushes usually means you did something wrong so generally blights fumble in that range but yea it works

Ah yes clearly god nurse and bully squads are balanced and fair because you don't see them very often. My mistake.

Just what I thought :) Yap yap yap but when asked to discuss with data and given points , falls short :D Enjoy your salty post
People ignore barking dogs on the road for a reason ;)

You say more nuance to it than just 'bump four times j flick and instadown' but I'm willing to bet 99% of Blights don't have the bump logic or teching skills to actually hit Survivors with it that aren't in a complete deadzone. Its one of those addons that catches you off guard because you're not expecting a Blight to actually run it, but after that its fairly easy to work around. Out of all the Blight addons to talk about this is definitely not even in the top 3
What makes Blight S tier is how fast he can cover distance, but Iri tag requires you to permanently concede that distance in exchange for a oneshot that you're not gonna be able to land at will. It requires you to sacrifice easy M1s and efficiency for the sake of a gimmick controlled by the Survivors. There are a few exceptions though like deadzones, and unsafe tiles like a TL so Its really fair when you think about it. Blights are extremely easy to loop on certain tiles while devastating on others. If a Blight is able to spam rush into a wall and hug-tech or moon-rush his way to a one shot down even if you're on a safe tile then they clearly deserve it at that point and they would eventually outplay you anyway unless you're a top% Survivor

I have played against it a few times, but not very often.
But it’s actually the one super strong addon blight has that I don’t really have a problem with because it’s difficult to use and rewards good blight play. I like the dynamic it has where you can attempt to get an instadown with it but potentially lose out on a hit you could’ve gotten in fewer rushes without it. Maybe it shouldn’t work near the hook since it’s a bit stupid if the blight is camping but that’s about it.

While I do think it is extremely strong, unless you are dead zoned you can typically make a blight have to flick or hug for it which are pretty counterable. There is also using lockers like you would a bubba except there is no perfect timing just wait for fatigue and you may get out without taking an m1. Really the greatest strength of iri tag is the fact that most people probably don't know it exists. Although I say that, I have probably only lost with it less than 5 times and one of them I went against the best survivor I have ever gone against at least in terms of playing vs blight.
You are a survivor main right? I don't know if I have ever seen you say something I disagree with at least to my memory. I try to be as unbiased as possible so maybe that's why.
Yeah, WR build is quite disgusting. Except for once, the few time's I have ran it I have gone against survivor's who have no right to go against me which makes me feel bad, so I got that under lock and key until mmr is really trying one day lol.
- Most fun add-on set in the game while also being super strong, after 6.1.0 I feel bad running it
- Not as strong as 1 but nearly as fun
- I could be wasted with one eye open and get a 3k

I am a Survivor main based off my stats but it would probably be hard for some to tell off the forums because I tend to play devils advocate a lot for Killer since I also love playing it at an equal level

it's really good it's just that blight has like 5 other grossly op addons

There pointing out the flaw in your comment. Maybe have a better argument next time? Because it is true that just because it isn’t commonly seen doesn’t mean it’s okay.

"Just because something is powerful doesn't mean it needs to be taken out when only a handful of players can effectively use it and usage is negligible"
Imagine using that logic in the real world. "Just because hydrogen bombs are the scariest thing ever developed by mankind doesn't mean they need to be kept in check when they exist only in the hands of a small percentage of the world's leaders."

If you know the blight has iri tag there is more you can do than against c33 and alch ring, maybe even green speed. Plus his comment does hold more wait the regulus, as there is probably 200-300 blights who can actually use iri tag effectively as opposed to bully squads and double range nurse. Do I think iri tag is strong? Yes. Though I'm not 100% sure it needs nerfs before many more things in this game. Though I know versace is quite biased so I'm not sure how much of a point there is in including them here.

I feel the same way. I like playing even matches where it's possible either side wins. The best games are when all gens actually get done vs an altruistic swf with good players. It's either going to be a 4k or 0k and both sides are fighting for that, which was my problem with basekit ub honestly, just that end game being taken away from me. I can't stand DC's/suicide on hook because the game is just work for me at that point, no competition.

I don’t see how what I said was biased since what I said can go for literally anything in the world.

IMagine trying to compare a mechanic in real world against a in game one , congratulations you got the award .. you know which :) maybe next time comment with an actual argument ?

My man came back 10 days later, not to come up with a counterclaim, not to refute the logic presented—but to call my analogy bad because… it compares a circumstance in a game with a circumstance not in a game.
I’m so proud of this community.

I’ll throw on iri tag if the survivors bring 4 medkits or 4 Boxes. I’ve got around 950 hours on blight alone, and I’m to the point of having the knowledge of how to land just about every insta down.
but I rarely run it, just cause it can make the games end super quick ( especially with lethal and blighted crow).

yeah man sorry I have a life and not sitting on game forums responding out of my ass like you do :) so again you have no logical response just deflection? :D :D
0 -
Literally accusing me of deflection in the midst of your own deflection.
The irony is palpable.

Ive faced it plenty of times, maybe you are very lucky.

lmao in none of your responses have you ever attempted to provide a logical answer so yeah :) have fun trolling others

If you can't see the point in the analogy I made then that's on you.
