Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

BP incentive is on for killer (100%), but survivor queue is much more faster? why?

Is anyone experiencing this?

I'm having 100% incentive for the killer role, but the survivor queue is MUCH MORE faster, like instantly.

I’ve yet to even once ever see the bonus on for killer at all, always up for survivor 100% of the time for me. Survivor queue has also been much faster.

In my case it is kinda weird, it is either 100% always on surv or a constant change between 25%killer/25%survivor

For me, during the day and early to mid afternoon is when I see survivors usually have the 100% bonus. But during the late afternoon and night I usually see killers with 100% bonus.

Maybe they messed around with it. Either way I don't play as much because it jumps around so much. Kinda frustrating.

Could be that overal there arem't enough killers to fill lobbies but that there are a large number of lobbies with 3 survivors in waiting for the final one.

Making solo survivor queues fast but swf queues slow

    Maybe just guessing

    May be its just broken?

From what I understand everytime they tried to explain it, the incentives take your MMR into account.

So your Killer MMR is needed, so it bribes you with a Bonus "We need more Killers with your skill!".

Your survivor queues are faster despite that because your Survivor and Killer MMR are different, the Killers in your Survivor MMR are plenty. Fast Survivor Queues.

"We could use more survivors with your Survivor MMR, but the killers with your Killer MMR is even less! So Killer Bonus it is Beep Boop!"

Guessing there is a Quantity thing, maybe there are overall less Players in your Killer MMR which gives it more importance

That's what I think is happening

Or maybe BHVR be doing a little 𝔱𝔯𝔬𝔩𝔩𝔦𝔫𝔀

That’s something I have been wondering about.

if this is true, then it should be possible to have both killer and survivor incentives to be on (or both off) for you, right? Though I have never seen that being the case.

also killers are supposed to have individual MMRs if you have played enough games with them - so why is it that you have a universal killer incentive that doesn’t change depending on the selected killer…

The incentives never seem to change when I switch killers, so I assumed it meant we need more killers overall, but the specific killer you picked is in an MMR range where we need more survivors.

That can't be correct because this way you would be able to sometimes see some incentive for both sides at the same time.

Also the incentive is shown in the main menu where you haven't even picked your killer and it's been confirmed that you have separate MMR for each killer.

Both off is pretty frequent for me, for example. It's totally possible. Both on can't be. If both roles from you are ok the game won't give you anything. It's simple as that.

As for killers' mmr - afaik BHVR haven't clarified it yet but I think the reason is that those MMRs of our killers aren't SO different. Like, if you have 400 wins in a row with nurse she will be at top soft cap for matchmaking purposes anyway. And because of her all your other killers (even new ones) will be at least at low soft cap and maybe even higher. Hence, the differences between all killers just can't be too big for one player (in "eyes" of matchmaking system), especially if you will count all extended MMR brackets (like if there are survivors who wait long enough mmr means nothing anyway, you will be paired with them no matter what).

im fairly sure its a manual switch to shut killers up

there is no way in hell its actually working as intended, because sometimes i get way faster queue on killer than survivor and yet for some reason the BP incentive is still on survivor

    The incentives are 100% random.

I play with friends who are in the same region and country as me, but sometimes one of us will have an incentive, the other wont. Or we both will but one for survivor and one for killer.
