Thrilling tremors - do i overrate it?
I have made a habit of running it on all my killers to a point where i feel "naked" without it.. It provides info if you get a down AND blocks all the gens that are not worked on atm.
Getting a down however is not always easy depending on what kind of survivors you face, usually there are 1 or 2 that cant loop you like gods, but its not always the 1 or 2 you find first. Lethal pursuer is a good way to deal with this, get gens blocked early on, but i kinda dislike the idea of only having 3 perks the rest of the trial, so i only take lethal when i have aura add ons to pair with it too.
Depending on which killer i use i run the dms+pain.res combo or call of brine + eruption. (third always being thrilling, fourth is my 1 'fun' perk. Its either aura reading, a hex or some niche perk)
I know that thrilling aint the meta, but i might not have realised litteraly handicapping myself with it? unless i dont. Thats my question here XD

I'm the same, I love Thrilling Tremors. Decent slowdown, often gives info, giving you somewhere to go after a hook (basically as reliable as BBQ)
I wouldn't run it with other gen blocking perks, particularly DMS and Pain Res, because you may be blocking the gen you want to Pain Res. I'd say it pairs much better with 'manual' regression perks, things like Eruption, Overcharge, etc. or even Jolt, as you can head towards the unblocked gen, either kick it or down someone nearby.
Often I run Thrilling as my only slowdown perk if I have a decent 'chase' build going on, as the info gets me back into the action.

I easily bypass it as a survivor. I check for thrilling tremors, and if I see it, then I'll just avoid it. Even though it might sound bad to purposely allow 16 seconds of no generator repair, I think it's more important to confuse the killer into thinking that no one is working on the generator.
The only exceptions are if I think I can complete the generator before the killer reaches it, or if the killer is camping that game and is not likely to travel over to the generator.

i seem to not get any value out of BBQ, people jump in lockers to avoid it or are simply to close. Do you have any info perk suggestions for the dms+pain.res build aside thrilling?
So people DO counterplay it! i had one or few moments where i was like. "wait werent they on that gen over there? why is it blocked?" And i might have had cases where i didnt notice at all. Thats good to know, thanks! When im playing survivor, in soloQ the least i want to do is to get off of gens if im not in chase atm, in swf we can coordinate a little better. But my friends are such jukers i hardly come into a situation where i need to make that decision in the first place.
i also rarely face thrilling tremors as a survivor so i always think people are surprised seeing it

I like running Thrilling Tremors, it's a reliable perk for information. I run it on most of my killers now, it replaced BBQ.
However, as a slowdown it's probably one of the weakest.

I think Thrilling Tremors has actually gained a bit of value indirectly since 6.1.0. Before that, I used to mostly just think of it as being inferior to BBQ, but now BBQ no longer gives bloodpoints and Thrilling does one thing BBQ doesn’t - completely bypass Distortion, which wasn’t popular before but now it is since its most recent buff. I’ve been using Discordance a bit more often since then for the same reason.
One thing specifically regarding your build though, if you’re running it with PR + DMS, PR cannot target a gen that is blocked by Thrilling. If the highest-progressed gen is blocked, it will go to the next-highest one that isn’t, or straight up do nothing if there’s no other available generator. So that’s actually not the best combo.
I never go out of my way to preemptively counter Thrilling as a survivor though unless I’ve already seen it. If I’ve seen it I might sometimes (not always), but if I haven’t, it’s not common enough for me to anticipate it.
