Let's talk about outfit packs and the QoL they could provide.

Previously we mused about whether or not the 3-moths rhythm of update is good for the game. It's not. Too little time to smooth things out, squash some bugs and polish things up.

So, an idea is this:

Have new Chapters come out every 6 months (with an exception for an anniversary chapter) and intersplice them with major outfit packs.

Major themed packs bringing new outfits for all characters, and 'outfit- expansion' packs bringing the recolours for the latest rift or single cosmetics.

This would, sure, means more work for the art department, but it would take weight off the shoulders of the departments working on new gameplay content to make that stuff be a thumbs up.

And talking about the rift and recolours: The recolourspots could now be filled with old charms or shards, which would also be a boon to some players I'd say.

i would have no issiue with it, as long as there are actually cool things in it besides only recolor stuff.

I'd be cool with this as someone who loves cosmetics. So long as they aren't too biased with who gets cosmetics

I wouldn't mind less frequent new chapters.

Maybe on top of cosmetics they could also review older chapters to make small balance changes =)

it could be, like, themed packs (for example 'swinging 60s') for all characters (maybe two packs separating survivors and killers), plus smaller packs with recolours for the newest rift cosmetics (as in, you'd for example get a pink jeansjacket for claudette in the rift, and the pack would have it in other colours.)

I'd love it if they just sold charms in packs or for like $1-2 apiece.
