Tombstone Myers and lockers counter
The streamer Coconuts recently posted a video with a devs nite about exploiting and tried to say going into lockers against a tombstone Myers is bannable. My husband even claims he's right. However, in August, I saw @Mandy say it was NOT bannable nor an exploit. Can a dev please confirm if this is still true?

No, it is not. It is the only correct way to counter insta kill addons.
These addons are OP and outdated. They should be reworked and buff base kit Shape.

Its not bannable, its the only real counterplay to Tombstone addons.

Absolutely not there is nothing stopping myers from grabbing the person in the locker, and there is nothing stopping the survivor from getting out of the locker. So unless you are gonna ban both for not progressing the game, then you cant really ban either one.

Myers can pull the survivor out of the locker and hook them.

If it was Coconut.... I'm going to be surprised as trying to claim it's bannable to counter an insta kill addon with no hook states sounds a bit entitled in my opinion. Something I never associated him with.
The "it's bannable / an exploit" argument in my head sounds like this to me: Let me mori you! No! You can't jump into a locker, that isn't fair! I wanna kill you, Let me kill you! :'((((

I heard that a few times from people that got very tired of trying for the achievement but that was more frustration then a serious opinion

It's literally the only way to avoid getting one-shotted. Well, you can also just sit on a gen but the Myers could technically just wait till you finish it.

I don't see what video you're referring to OP.
Anyways, pretty sure it does not classify as an exploit, doubly so if you've seen a mod post here saying so. If Myers can still hook you it doesn't really impede normal gameplay, so whatever.

Yeah, I agree and I have a hard time believing OP, unless it's some other Coconut or it's been taken out of context or something. I mean, Coco has a video from last month where he hides in a locker over and over from a Tombstone Myers in 2v1 and they manage an escape. Seems weird he'd change stances like that.

This is why I'm confused as well. I've seen that video (amazing vid, I love it lol) and one titled Michael Myers is vey angy where a Myers actually got VERY salty Coco jumped into a locker when he tier 3'd and couldn't mori him. Very salty.
I typed into the search dbd coconutrts + myers and nothing recent came up involving a dev? Even in his uploads, I couldn't find anything so I too am curious for the link. Lol But I'm inclined to be on the boat that it's a different Coco or a misunderstanding somewhere because I've never seen or heard of Coco having that take.

That's the video. He highlighted the devs post about cheating and exploiting in the beginning of it. So my husband took it as he was saying that locker jumping on tombstone Myers was an exploit.

I rewatched the video of the one @ohheyitsbobcat was referring to and there's nothing about highlighting exploits? Just an opera gx promo. The one from 3 weeks ago if you check out his videos section is the revenge against a toxic streamer where he does highlight in that video about exploits about 5 minutes and a half in. Where did the Myers thing come about when there's no Myers in that video??? This is why I'm confused. Lol

No idea about Coconut, but a lot of streamers and content creators are double faced. Don't assume you know them just for what they post, I've been put VS some of them in the past and they've been entitled rude people on the post game chats or absolute BM's during the trial. Not saying they are bad people irl of course, but this game takes the worst out of a lot of people sometimes.
