Devs need to stop protecting hackers
I get that developers are hesitant to ban hackers because it means they'll lose a tiny bit of income on micro-transactions, but I think putting profits over people's enjoyment and experience of the game is unethical. We pay for the game too you know, and hackers are ruining it for us. As it stands right now there's literally not even a way to report hackers in the game. There has to be an in-game report that actually checks, because I keep having matches ruining by hackers and I know I'm not the only one. You can't expect me to record every single match with external software can you?
Stop protecting them.

As I'm looking through the forums, I'm seeing you're more likely to get banned for complaining about hackers than if you were to ACTUALLY hack. This is disgusting behaviour.

This is my issue. I get that they need us to show examples of the behavior but I’m not going to begin recording every match I play on the off chance someone is cheating and I need to report them and send evidence.

You don't report hackers through threads.
You report them through the reporting system, on the official website here. https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011
I suspect your thread got closed for naming and shaming. So if you've got video evidence, I suggest you grab that link and make that ticket before this thread gets closed down.

As @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe already explained, this is not the place to report players.
The forums have a no naming and shaming policy to avoid witch hunting and false accusing, since evidence can be counterfeited, and this has no exceptions, especially since we do not handle in-game reports here.
I suggest following the correct procedure if you want to report players, which includes reporting in game and opening a ticket on the Support website with the necessary evidence: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight
