Deranged Pursuit Achievement BUGGED?

I played Legion for a couple of hours (misery), downed multiple Survivors who had the Deep Wounds effect - I don't have a single tick on my Achievement progress. Nothing registered.

Did they misrepresent what the Achievement is for? Because I met the conditions to have at least some progress there, but nothing registered.

The text of the achievement is bugged, it's not the right definition.

To gain this achievement you need to:

• Select Legion
• Activate Feral Frenzy
• Hit a survivor
• Hit and down a survivor that already had Deep Wound.

But I was downing Survivors who had Deep Wounds and none of it registered for the achievement.

I don't understand, am I expected to still be in Frenzy when I down them? Because I did down Survivors who had Deep Wounds applied both when I was in Frenzy and normal M1 - they had Deep Wounds applied though.

The description is unclear/incorrect/bugged (as confirmed on Developer Stream) and should be fixed soon.

Here's what you have to do:

• activate your power
• hit SurvivorA (a survivor who hasn't had Deep Wound applied on them) and apply Deep Wound
• within the same frenzy, hit (down) SurvivorB (a survivor who already has Deep Wound affected from a previous frenzy attack)

Obviously, since hitting SurvivorB will automatically end your frenzy (since you're hitting a survivor already affected by Deep Wound), you need to make sure you hit them when their Deep Wound meter has progressed down significantly (or use Frank's Mix Tape to apply a greater amount of damage to the Deep Wound meter).

The requirements seem really random and don't really make sense with how the killer's power functions, but those are the requirements...
Perhaps it made more sense with a previous version of Legion/Legion's power (as hinted by the developers)...

That's insane.

So the achievement not only doesn't count when you down a Survivor with Deep Wounds outside of a Frenzy, but it requires you to have two different people with Deep Wounds within the same area and down one of them in the same Frenzy?

This isn't just random or challenging, that's actually detached. Even with Frank's Mix Tape you can't do that.
You need the first Survivor to be around with a depleted meter when you hit the second Survivor and immediately get the first Survivor? That's... Unless you're in a farming match, I just don't see it happening. At all.

They need to change this achievement, it's not realistic at all. I thought Skilled Huntress was ridiculous, but this is... Even worse.

Yep, it's the most ridiculous conditions for an achievement imo. Like I said, the devs kind of hinted that this achievement may have been thought of before final changes to Legion, so it might have made more sense with a previous version of Legion's power. Because clearly it makes no sense with Legion's power now and is actually the opposite of what the current iteration of Legion's power is supposed to do. But the devs also said they're unlikely to change achievement requirements after they are released because people might already have them or have progress towards them.

And tbf on the devs, I think Skilled Huntress is a fair achievement. You just gotta be a skilled huntress xD (or just run Nurse's Calling)

Yeah, it's dumb and incredibly difficult.

Could have made it "down survivors afflicted with Deep Wounds" but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo let's make it convoluted and much, MUCH more difficult by including the "be in Killer Instinct" clause. Not "in Frenzy" in, god damn, Killer Instinct.
