Pigs new gimmick in getting traps kills
A while back they added a 5th jigsaw box to prevent pigs from camping the last box and forcing a survivor wearing a tap to die with no way of combating it. I thought this eliminated every issue with the pig until now.
The last 3 games I’ve faced against a pig have all ended the same. The pig puts a trap on me, and while I’m trying to remove my trap the pig lingers by in crouched mode. Tell me why being undetectable doesn’t stop the trap. The pig is literally right next to me preventing me from using the box and because she’s “technically” not in chase with me, my timer doesn’t go down. Anytime I get close to finishing the box, might I add with the addons that make searching a box take longer by the way, she attacks me and downs me. Now there’s no way I’m able to get the helmet off and she’s guaranteed a kill.
I don’t want to keep the “nerf pig” meme alive but stuff like this is detrimental to the game. Cheesy exploits like this are what make the games unbearable. I feel like the boxes should accumulate and not reset after getting off o prevent this.

Seems like all they were doing was wasting their time. They should be letting the traps do their job - keep the survivor busy with traps and therefore off gens - while they put pressure on trapless survivors. Seems like an inefficient use of Pig's power, I'm surprised you've had 3 instances of this.

It's not new and it's not an efficient strategy. It sucks for you but your teammates should have finished all gens by the time you're dead.

Reminds me of Deep Wound before running paused the timer. Legions would just follow far enough back to not start a chase so you'd either get caught or go down from deep wounds.
But it's probably not fast enough to be a very efficient strategy on Pig. Sucks for the person it's happening to though.
