Show ping in lobbies
If I remember correctly, this was a thing before, you could see other survivors ping in the pre-trial lobby, and if they're playing from Mars or not. Why get rid of it? That's my first thought, my second is show the killers ping pre-trial. What's the point of showing me that in the game, oh he's playing on the local McDonalds wifi, time to get hit from 3 miles away and not be able to do literally anything against it! I get lobby dodging is a thing and people don't want that to happen, but considering it ruins the match for 4 other people in a way they can do nothing about and have no control over, it seems only right that a 500 ping Weskie get dodged harder than old dead hard

They still show up in lobby, sorta. Now it's just a red bar if any of em are bad at that moment. I've had plenty of matches where everything was fine in lobby, then in game somebody will be runnin 120+. So I'm not sure it's a very helpful indicator, but it's there.

The only reasoning I can think of for not showing pings pretrial would be to discourage lobby dodging, in order to aid in queue times.
No way that's worth it imo.

It is worth it. No one wants to potentially spend minutes in queue just to get paired up with some guy VPN'ing from across the world.

You'll still see a red bar appearing in the lobby if someone has bad ping. It can show up for your own surv, killer or any other surv in the lobby. Just look for it and DON'T HIT READY WHEN THERES AT LEAST ONE READ BAR. Sometimes you need to wait out the lobby countdown as the red bar sometimes only appears at the end of the countdown (for some reason). Not perfect, but still better than the old peer-to-peer system.

Yeah, but this is not really realiable or only shows up when the Ping is REALLY bad.
I ended up in a game a few days ago where everyone had 120+ Ping. (I saw the Ping of the other Survivors and the Killer said after the game "######### was this Ping?", so they also had high Ping)
This happens when all Servers in your region are full, so you get connected to another Server. Most likely some Eastcoast-Server, filled with 5 players from EU. And neither of us got a notification in the Lobby.
@Topic:
Agreed. At the very least, the own Ping should be shown. But it should also show the Killers Ping, because in the end, even if I have great Ping to the Server, it does not matter if the Killer is having a bad Ping.
