Can't pull down pallets and die VERY far from the vault

What to add in the description

Example

Step 1 : Run toward a vault or a palette as a survivor

Step 2 : Once I run to the vault, which I do safely, I somehow die and am extremely far from the vault, the same thing happens with a pallet. I go to throw the pallet and there is no prompt, my controller works flawlessly, I've tested it with Xbox accessories app, it works 100%.

Step 3 : The vaults and pallets don't work and I am dead somehow, no prompts with the pallet as I said, and I am VERY far from the vault, sometimes I even manage to drop the palette and the killer is on the same side as me! Also my ping is ALWAYS the lowest, at 3. So it is absolutely not my connection.

Step 4 : Notice the game crashes after hooking a survivor

    Not sure if you are console or PC, but what you are describing, sounds like a desynch issue, although i've not experienced it as much as you are insinuating with the issue of having no prompts as frequently as you say.

    But if it is what I think it is this is not a bug, it is a gameplay mechanic / result of the interaction between server host and pc vs non pc players in a match.

    There is no conspiracy here either, I play on PS4, nearly every vault or pallet drop I ever do as a survivor ends in me being hit and nearly every chase I have with survivors on killer ends with me missing hits that shouldn't.

    PC advantage.

    But yeah, not a bug, this is a product of Desynch.

    Kinda same problem here, especially for my partner (both on PC but on controller)

    it’s most likely desynch and not a bug, though it definitely feels weird when you have a low ping, great internet connection, controller connected via cable etc.

    Thanks for your replies :) Yes I play on PC and have a wired controller. It was happening again today and resulted in me being tunneled out of every single match all day because there is no way for me to defend myself :(
