Mid chapter predictions

It’s the end of the year and with that, we know a mid chapter update, ptb, and patch are coming very soon. I thought it’d be fun to speculate what changes might be coming and what I would love to see changed.

1. Basically 100% confirmed they’re going to introduce the new solo Q buffs in the ptb to test how it works. I think it’ll be a somewhat useless system but we will see.
2. They will discuss the final mori and base kit unbreakable changes and slate it for a further future ptb.
3. The twins will be the highlight of the ptb. They did say after Legion and Ghostface they were going to look into the twins. I expect a full rework. victor will probably be given new abilities and buffs and charlotte as well.
4. Along with The twins, their teachable I believe are also getting buffed. I think Oppression will have its cooldown buffed, coup de grace will be reworked, and hoarder will get a slight buff.
5. They will finally nerf the blight into the ground. Gut his addons, adjust his sliding and turning capabilities and fix his hitboxes when bumping into objects. Just please make him not as oppressive.
6. I have a feeling a nerf for wesker is coming, but Only for his infection rate. Wesker is easily able to tunnel infected survivors after being unhooked since the infection doesn’t go away. I believe we will see a change to the infection rate to combat this.
7. Lastly I believe the gen kick meta will be shaken up but not completely nerfed. I strongly believe eruption is the only perk going to be nerfed. While the other Gen slowdown perks might have some numbers tweaked. Personally I think eruption should have a longer cooldown or a shorter hindered duration.

There are my ideas/predictions for the upcoming mid chapter. I would like to hear other predictions or ideas for dbd in 2023. Thanks for reading.

That’s an awful lot of ideas. Solo que and Eruption nerf are the only ones I’m certain on.
