tunnling and only focus on streamers
Why are there so many killers who only go after people who have TTV in their names, just because they are streamers. I myself have recently experienced that 90% of all games killers only go after me as I have TTV in my name. Why can't killers just play the game instead when they watch a TTV make the game miserable for them.
I have TTV on myself because then the people I play with can come on my stream and say hello. I have also heard several streamers who play a lot of DBD sit and consider dropping the game, precisely because killers only go after them. And when TTV is gone then there is nothing, so they don't just focus on one survivor but go after them all,
but TTV just needs to get out of the game as soon as possible. What's the fun in only targeting people with TTV in their names?

I welcome it. More chase = better content.
But I do get a lot of wholesome interaction from teammates and from survivors when I’m playing killer.

Many TTV behave the most obnoxious to entertain their viewers.
Let them do that for years and the killer player will get conditioned to hate TTV in player names.
And before you tell me "but i don't play like that", neither did I tunnel, camp, slug, play star struck nurse or anything and still survivor treated me like dirt.
Either take it or leave it. Not really many other options.

If you put TTV in your name, most people assume you are looking for attention/content and will gladly focus on you - A true blessing, as your viewers will not have to watch a boring gen simulator.

This. Even if the TTV isn't playing in a blatantly toxic/bully way with their SWF, they definitely do not ever have a nice thing to say about the killer

Precisely!

Sometimes it backfires if they're SWF or the lobby knows what they're doing (anyone tuned in can see you tunnel/basically know where you are).
I usually tune in/stick around if they're good sports, either way.
Too many people take the game way too seriously and try to gatekeep/belittle players over various things.
Hopefully OP realizes that there's a 99% chance no one cares if they survive/how the killer plays.
