Dead By Daylight's urgent problems with YouTube.
DBD is having a content problem. According to multiple DBD YouTubers, Dead By Daylight is currently being demonetized on YouTube, and the content is being age restricted and taken down. What can we do to deal with this?
In my opinion, we need to talk to youtube on social medias, twitter, instagram, etc, etc.
This could be HORRIBLE for DBD and YouTube as a whole, and we need to do our BEST to talk about this.
Please, BHVR, talk to YouTube if you can. This is a horrifying sign for the future of DBD content creation as a whole.

Just for some sources:
Video relating specifically to DBD:

I think the better plan is to just get off of Youtube as a whole, it's a sinking ship. Move to better alternatives that don't censor content like this. Things like Rumble, etc.

The game simply isn't big enough for them to care. They've probably had some backlash from paying advertisers that don't want to be associated with a game that depicts violence and killing. Now if it was COD or something as popular then things might be different.

The blood could be changed for flowers in censorship options.
Another censorship option, is to make moris very blurry also when killer hitting a survivor.
Hooking also should be changed in censor option, like survivor not screaming and blur that too.
It happened with the violent games already, those devs implented censorship options to prevent content creation stop, now they are coming for dbd.
No amount of talking will save the game, need to be made into more 2023 sensitive people and company friendly

######### that. YouTube needs to get their ######### together, not BHVR. Censoring the game makes it a snoozefest, considering the genre is HORROR. Either that, or we need a new platform to post videos on. But either way, please do spread awareness about this to whoever you can. I don't think any of us want DBD to stop being posted on YouTube.

They have censored political stuff for ages so people who like freedom of speech and such should always stay away from Youtube. Hitting gamers might be good because more will wake up to what is happening in the world. Heard they will block alcohol content with whisky, beer reviews etc also.

Noticed that OTZ started branching out, no wonder why now

Alternative to youtube. doesn't have the same presence yet, but it's growing quickly. I know lots of creators that mirror their content there because youtube screws them all the time.

Yeah. I honestly don't blame him, twitch is MUCH more engaging and easier to directly monetize, on top of the ads. Twitch isn't perfect, it has its issues, but overall I'd rather use twitch than YouTube for DBD content.

Could you give me a link? I don't have the time to look it up right now, but I'd be interested in at least making an account.

That was a link, just rumble dot com.

Just beware that the site is in a transition phase from schizo bait to actually normal place, it's greatest strength is also a weakness, that being you can't get banned unless you break American laws.

As it should be. If you don't like the things people post, don't watch them.

Fair enough, I was just surprised to see a site that big brazenly showing off unpopular opinions.

Unpopular doesn't mean wrong. The arguments and ideas should all be presented and challenged with the best ones rising to the top.
