You've always taken the bad with the good. Sometimes the good is worth it.
After dropping a pallet, if it is still intact after 30/25/20 seconds it will automatically reset.
The next pallet you drop will instantly shatter.
This effect repeats indefinitely.

Seems kind of useless, personally. The killer has almost no reason to not break a pallet dropped mid-chase unless it's a super-weak pallet at which point resetting it is irrelevant.
