As with the title, what in your opinion, do you think the devs should do to improve the experience of DBD this year?

I personally chose to prioritise current maps. We are at a weird period at the moment where some maps have been re-designed and some haven't. Badham, for example, is very visually out of sync with other urban maps and is still very survivor sided (so I'm told). I'd much rather see a period of time this year where BHVR look at current map issues and create better varieties of existing maps than try and push out more new content.

I think the biggest problem with the game currently is map design. Like 90% of the problems DBD currently has stem from poorly designed maps.

As always map design is the games number 1 issue.

Imo, the game would heavily benefit from more variation in environments. I think if BHVR took a season or two and just worked on releasing whole map packs this game would feel a lot more fresh and less repetitive. Right now too many maps look and feel the same, regardless on whether they are in the same "family" or not (i.e. Coldwind Farms maps). Give us a beach town esque map, or maybe one posted up on a mountain with some nice verticality to it, etc.

Buff unused perks, balance some maps. Fix some hitboxes, give some love to lower tier killers. =)

Honestly, why is Slippery Meat even still in the game? Who is using that when Deliverance is in the game?

True, haha. I guess it's in the case when you get hooked first and didn't manage to have a safe unhook before. You know, the Deliverance syndrome where you'll be found first through Lethal.

But to get max value out of Slippery Meat, you have to start trying to unhook yourself as soon as you're on the hook, and if the killer sees you try to free yourself, they might as well stay and watch you kobe, then go after you again.

Deliverance is better because if it's guaranteed, you can wait until the coast is clear.

M1 killer buff, most killers are not viable against a good SWF so it definitely shouldn't be

Half of the current maps are simply not balanced for both sides. Midwich favors killers too much while Fractured Cowshed and Garden of Joy are too survivor sided. Many maps should be reduced in size while others need a higher pallet density. Shelter Woods actually needs both.
