STEAM has the ability to let people leave comments on your profile, so if you ask someone to sign your profile, it's basically just leaving a comment for everyone to see.

And on occasion, I do ask players that I think are amazing at the game to sign my profile just as a memory keepsake, sometimes I just do it with content creators, etc. So I was wondering if other players do a similar thing.
