Lunar Event - "Collect all 10..."
Hey all,
I am confused by the last sentence which describes red envelopes on the DbD website. The text is as follows...
"The Red Envelope is a Lunar Event tradition, and once again Players can find these limited-time Offerings in the Bloodweb.
Upon burning a Red Envelope Offering, a Red Envelope viewable to all players will spawn in the Trial. For players who burn Red Envelopes, the Aura of their respective Envelopes will be visible to them.
The owner can interact with their Envelope it to reveal it. Upon doing so, a sound effect will be heard throughout the trial and the Envelope’s aura will be revealed to all players.
An Envelope can be opened and claimed by another player. When an Envelope is claimed, its owner receives a reward of 5000 Bloodpoints, and the recipient receives a randomized number of additional Bloodpoints. Note that this number can vary, and with a bit of luck it can be quite the haul. The Envelope’s owner will also receive a Lunar Event Reward listed below . Collect all 10!"
Collect all 10 what? Are there 10 different kinds of Red Envelope, which aren't described? I am confused.

Presumably, every time you acquire a Red Envelope, you'll get one of the ten cosmetics listed below the announcement.

This is the same thing ever. just collect 10 envelopes and your event will be done. 2 week and in 2 hours or less playing and your event will be nothing to do more. :)

Has anyone actually seen a lantern or red envelope yet? I haven't and I have played three games so far.

The website lists the event only going to the 24th.... Unless I am misunderstanding something.

Question, only the OWNER of the envelop can receive a cosmetic reward? So survivors that don't bring in envelops will only receive BP and not cosmetics? Is this a correct statement?

Yeah... I know they are listing the one from the 17-24 as Early Celebration... but ######### does that mean? Like, I don't see any of the lanterns or envelopes. Does BHVR enjoy confusing its player base?

"Early celebration" just means the actual event hasn't started yet. This is a...pre-celebration, I guess, so that they don't miss the Lunar New Year starting but also line up the actual event with the midchapter release (presumably).
The actual event starts next week. They probably could've explained better.

Ya, you get the reward when you bring the envelope offering. It's so people can't just get all the cosmetics without actually participating in the event. Like if you want the cosmetics, you can't bring a map offering.
