Did the DDoSing Vulnerability Ever Got Patched?

Back when the Artist PTB revealed a major vulnerability in the servers broadcasting all players IP addresses BHVR put out a little notice about it. That eventually got removed and nothing has been said about the issue ever since, not even by content creators who have talked to the people selling the "hacks" to this game. I've been using a VPN service ever since and it has been about 2 or 3 months since the last time I "magically" lost connection seconds after downing a survivor so if anyone has an update on it, I'd love to stop having to put up substandard speed out of necessity (my ISP told me they have better things to do than to give new IP addresses because I'm playing an unsecured game).

    I don't remember hearing anything about it being fixed.

    Also, if you're on Console, bad news.

    No it is not fixed, and the game is extremely vulnerable to targeted DDoS and other DDoS attacks.
