I'm going to repeat myself, but I'm going to recall the anecdote that happened to me once.
On Backwater, I'm facing a Haddie.
I down her in less than 10s, watch in hand.
She was doing almost nothing but straight lines, no back, no double back, no loops in complicated places for me.
After the game, I went to see her profile: it was a 3500+h TTV.
I watched some of her videos.
He's pretty good against other killers.
But against the nurse, he's terrible.
During the game, at one point he said, "Okay, him, he's good with the nurse, there's no problem, he's very very good with the nurse."
No, that had nothing to do with it. I had just touched him because he was running straight and he barely tried to turn slightly at the end.

the one that ignores DBD?.
then the other comment i just dont discuss with dumbo arguments, wait, was that an argument?... aura reading perks on nurse are dumb, and some nurse maisn with thousand of hours suggested that change aswell... but im not gonna discuss this with someone so biased.

Good luck finding survivors without aura reading with the new Nurse Music. You can not hear breathing, foot steps, or sounds of pains on the loudest survivors now. Audio is basically useless now on Nurse. You lose one mindgame or you get aim dressing one time, and bye Felicia, that survivors never to be seen again.
Nerfing aura perks would have some footing but what they did to Nurses ability to actually hear sounds is ######### disgusting. This is not how you balance killer. With that said, aura perks in the current meta do not need nerfs, especially if you are running a full aura build, and have zero slowdown, thats high risk high reward, and completely negated by Distortion. When I run full aura Huntress, 1 in 10 games will have a full team running Distortion (usually at least one player has it almost every match), and it requires sweat because now I have no useable perks and one of my addons is wasted.

It's pretty smart to keep only what suits you, but you have to consider all the elements.
The more aura perks a killer uses, the less control he has over the generators.
I sometimes play full aura reading perks on my nurse, and I can assure you that the repair speed is not the same.
So obviously, against a completely disorganized team, it's not too bad; some teams are so lost that even without perks, it would be possible to get very good results. But against an organized and fast team, it changes a lot.
Also, aura perks are not 100% wins, given the number of survivors playing with Distortion or Boon: Shadow Step.
Especially since not all aura perks are equally dangerous.

Which is very stupid when you think about it. I'm at the point where I think the 4.4 killer days need to be ended. 4.6 isn't even enough to stop hold W. Mobility killers rule.

So what exactly is the difference between the removal of omegablink Nurse and demanding an actual rework of Nurse?
Here are some facts: Nurse is undisputedly the strongest Killer in the game, has had a near-total stranglehold on the high-level Killer meta for, what? 6 years? And nothing short of a rework or some extremely harsh nerfs is ever going to change that. That'd be more than enough justification for most games to go through with some changes.
Nurse is what League of Legends players like to call a "balance nightmare". A character whose kit is so fundamentally powerful, whose playstyle is so all-or-nothing, that no amount of number changes will ever put them in a satisfactory position. They will forever fluctuate between oppressively powerful and useless. Though unlike other gaming companies, BHVR has been EXTREMELY hesitant to bite the bullet on any meaningful changes, so we've never seen the latter on Nurse.
