I played my first Spirit match in two months last night
It felt great honestly, I truly forgot how enjoyable she was. I haven’t played a whole lot of DBD in general (90% of the time played survivor the times when I did and the other 10% killer when I had a daily). I was very rusty at first but it didn’t take me that long to get the hang of her again since I already had like hundreds of hours of Spirit experience under my belt.
The build I used was Spirit Fury, Enduring, Brutal Strength, and Hubris, and for add ons: Uchiwa, Kintsugi Teacup. Pallets are so useless against this girl when she has this build is all I’ll say about it lol. I’d recommend it though, if you want a fun strong build without boring slowdowns, then this is perfect.
Anyway though, I’m starting to really find my passion for DBD again and have been having more fun than I’ve had playing in a while. Those extended breaks I’ve taken from the game this past year have really helped. And don’t worry, even though I didn’t play Spirit for 2 months, she still has never left my heart, my love for her will always be there :)

I used to like her but after the directional nerf/patch, any decent survivor seemed able to pin-point her location.
I'm curious to know how your opinion may evolve after a certain amount of games.

Good to see your back!
I’ll probably come back since the new solo queue icons seem cool (And eruption is confirmed to be getting a nerf). Most of the changes coming this year seem to be great

Yeah, wish at least they made her directional audio really vague ( not like the the current one like it’s so not vague when she’s near and starts phasing towards you XD ) and don’t get me wrong! I wish they’d remove her directional audio altogether but keep the omnidirectional one so survivors don’t complain ( they’ll still do prolly XD )
Also i did very much like her not having a whoosh sound at all when starting to phase from within a survivor’s TR, oh well i guess all good things will inevitably end :(
They could at least make the Furin add-on makes it so that the whooshing noise is omnidirectional at all distances without having to phase from a certain distance or equip oblivious or undetectable status -effect -applying perks for it be omnidirectional.

I'm like this with Blight, when I don't play DBD for a while the first few games are rusty but then it's so effortless and fun after that. I play him 95% of the time and switching to other killers feels too clunky/slow in comparison. They don't have that same rewarding flow as Blight.
I've always wanted to try Spirit more, but I have some hearing problems so it's kind of a no go.
