About changing Eruption also because affects Solos more than SWF
I do agree changes were needed, even though I'm not sure I would've gone the same way.
However, as the title says, that part of the perk is still going to be the same after the nerf/rework.
So, if Eruption still finds a niche after the update, it's still going to be in the soloq-get-the-short-stick camp.

Don't worry, the effect is so bad it no longer matters if all 3 survivors get hit by it or not. If it has zero effect then 0 * solo team or 0 * swf team you still get zero. Add it to the pile with ruin/thana/pop/corrupt intervention/overcharge

I was thinking about this as well, although it no longer matters nearly as much as it used to. Aura reading generally isn't going to be nearly as big of a deal as being unable to do anything for 25 seconds was.
That said, I don't expect the perk to be that popular anymore, 10% of current progress is not much regression and it can also be immediately stopped unlike before where it would continue to regress for the 25 seconds. If anything, the new Eruption might be most useful as a slugging tool since you could down someone and then go towards other survivors (who you can see the aura of) instead of hooking immediately. It'll still provide a little slowdown, but not nearly as much as it does now.

was it over nerfed? Yes, wildly so. Am i happy about it? Yes, wildly so. No longer will killers be able to handcuff you to matches for 40 minutes with this overtuned garbage
It's been a really long time since a perk has made me straight up not wanna play the game, honestly like old MoM is the most recent one.

Old MoM is honestly the only thing I could think of in terms of being as busted as Eruption. Being an M1 killer player when MoM came out was horrendous. 4x MoM+DH every game
