A lot of us are happy for your open communication so far this year, as well as following the road map you released to a T.
I am also sure a lot of us would be overjoyed if you took a step back and admit the flaws of the game. Take some time to reflect on the community and how decisive Legion has been. Take some time to reflect and fix the engine problems.
I am fairly confident if you delay the spring killer a bit if you instead focus on Optimization, engine rewriting, and updates to the base game that no one would complain. In fact it would look better and might be a good PR move.
Maybe spend the time on the Freddy rework. You might consider reworking the legion to be more unique (as in multiple killers or the original survivor killer concept). I say this since the trailer, lore, and even the chapter name (darkness among us) suggest that you had a different idea for Legion but didn't have time to get it 100% working so we got runny boi.
I am fairly sure we would want a killer who had such a cool concept fully realized than what we have now. Not just that,by delaying the spring killer a bit you gain extra time to flesh out his concept more.
This year so far has been a great year for DbDl content wise. A little slow down to help polish what we have gained wouldn't hurt.
Another suggestion: maybe find a way to add and collect surveys in game. Like an in game link to the surveys. This will reach more plays in the community than the forums and Reddit.
