How do you all feel about pre-dropping pallets?
Personally I find it to be the most annoying thing in DBD right now due to how some loops trap me inside. I wouldn’t mind a perk that does something akin to Spirit Fury but on predrops. I know for some killers it’s needed like Michael or perhaps Bubba, but since the devs seem to think a whole factory’s worth of pallets is okay on some of these maps I’m just wondering how everyone feels about them.

If they are all mostly safe pallets than it's just as boring as being camped for most killers.

I think that’s the issue. Most loops have safe pallets. If we had more unsafe ones it could feel much better to be chased or to chase.

I don’t mind it. Especially if it’s a mindless survivor that just runs from pallet to pallet and continues to drop them without trying to loop. Easiest way to create massive deadzones and end chase extremely quick later on.

I think it’s boring and I generally won’t do it as survivor if there isn’t a good reason to. Sometimes you have to though.

I love pre dropping I won't lie.

It illustrates the issue with the abundance of overly safe loops once the pallet in thrown. If most loop were a 50/50 mind game people wouldn't care about pre dropping, however right now most are forced breaks.

I play a lot of pallet shredder wraith so I'm cool with it

It's very boring, but I blame the devs for making most of the killer roster's only counter w-keying.

There's not a huge reason to not do it. It can be a sign of a really good survivor or a really bad one. You kind of have to test them and see. A less confident player is going to pre-drop but path poorly after or panic vault. A really good survivor is going to pre-drop and chain it to something else or force you to burn 20 seconds trying to land a hit on a vault mind-game.
People hate on pre-dropping, but the worst possible thing you can do on survivor is take a hit at a tile with the pallet up or go down without dropping any pallets. Just...why? You are never going to run out of pallets, and a good killer is going to win at least 50% of those loops if you aren't safe. Taking hits and being greedy doesn't make someone a good survivor.
The odds of winning go up exponentially the longer you deny a killer their first hook relative to gens completed. I'm chucking half the pallets on the map in the first chase.

I love it. If I can "waste" a pallet to avoid a hit, I'll do it. A lot of the time the killer will get discouraged and go pressure gens. But if they don't, I will run them around for as long as I can so my teammates (hopefully) can make as much progress on gens as possible.
