Skull Merchant: an aura-reading Ghostface with extra steps
Well, I was curious to see what the Skull Merchant's power was going to be when I noticed she had drones. Would they shoot survivors and damage them? Would they fly and attach to them to slow them down? What could they do?
They reveal survivor auras, that's what they do.
Other killers can already read auras with perks and add-ons. Sure, her power reveals all survivor auras within an area, with can be nice, but aura-reading is usually not that big of a deal for a killer power. Besides, Michael Myers can already do it with either Vanity Mirror or Scratched Mirror. If you want information to protect gens, Surveillance and Call of Brine do that just fine.
Wait, the drones can also... make survivors exposed after a few seconds.
So can Myers. And Ghostface. And they can do it anywhere just by looking at survivors, they don't need the survivors to stay inside a specific area they could just run away from. Not to mention other insta-down killers: Billy, Bubba, Oni.
But she can become undetectable too!
SO CAN GHOSTFACE! AND WRAITH! AND PIG! AND SADAKO! Myers starts the game like that! All of them can do it anywhere, with no need to be in a specific area with such a bright outline everybody knows there's a chance the killer will be lurking there. Hell, if you want such a limited stealth, any killer can get it with the right perks, some with add-ons.
So she has just very limited versions of stuff Ghostface can do plus some aura reading that is already accessible to other killers through perks and add-ons, and she also gives survivors information of where she can do all these stuff. They know where she can sneak through, they know where and when she can see them, and they know where not to go so they don't get exposed.
What a disappointing killer.

I'm hoping she will get some buffs before live release. She needs something to make her at least somewhat viable.
