When you last played Clown map... you didn't pet maurice, didn't you? I am pretty sure Maurice then went away for vaccation, thinking about all these Survivors who ignored him... then decided he will take the action into his own hands. Now he hunts Survivos. It could be all avoided if you just give him some food from time to time, water and pet him.
