Iridescent shard grind reduction possibility?

Can't it be lowered a little, 9000 for character is a bit too much and the devotion reset makes no sense I would rather stay at level 100 and get 300 iridescent shards than make it reset to lvl 1 and get less shards because of that, If you worried that bhvr would lose money becuase there are skins that can be bought with shards I don't care about skins at all, you can raise the prices if anything.

Can't it give some shards for example: climbing to the iridescent rank or getting the max points in every category in a game, you know the altruism, escape, chaser,etc.
