How do you hide your name to other people?
I'm a TTV and I get tunneled a lot but I don't know how to hide my name because when i put on the settings, my other friends still see my username. anyone know how to help?

Are you on Console? If so, it doesn't work.

Because they haven't enabled it for Console yet.
I can't remember the specific reason, but it WAS enabled and then it got disabled.

Not to sound rude... Why did you put TTV in your name?

Your friends will always see your name with Anonymous Mode on regardless of your platform. Doesn't mean Anon mode isn't working. My friends and I see each other's names but appear as generic survivor names if we go back and watch a vod from the killer's perspective. We're on PC though. I can't confirm about console.

They said it had something to do with Sony/Microsoft. It actually was enabled on console when it first came out and they removed it right away.

The weird thing at least on XSX is, we still have the option for anonymous mode, but it just works for yourself as the other players will still see your name.

It superseded settings by PlayStation and Xbox and no game can do that (override a console’s settings/abilities), so they had to revert it or risk being sued.
