Pig box search numbers, how do they work with add-ons?
So, with 4 traps you get guaranteed 12 searches, that was added to pig to buff her consistency and nerf the AFK pig playstyle.
But, just curious, does anyone know how it works when you have more or less than 4 traps, what happens if you have 2, 3, 5 or 6 traps. Are the values random or do they also have fixed search values?

I believe it scales to an average of 3 attempts per trap, which is then pooled between them.
So if you have three traps, then you get 9 attempts in total, with whatever permutations allow for those traps to have either 1, 2, 3 or 4 attempts each.
Two traps = 6, five = 15, and six = 18.
Effectively, this makes increasing and reducing the number of traps less impactful, as fewer traps = more consistent search numbers (with two traps basically being a 50/50 between 3/3 or 2/4) and more traps = less consistent (six traps allowing for multiple one/two-shot removals).

ALWAYS 3 attempts per trap.
With 5 traps, the survivors need 15 searches in total.

If they did give her chase music and a menu theme they would probably nerf her along with it. Because people dont know pig have different chase theme which means they are disadvantaged
