Uniquely Effective Perks for the Skull Merchant

I haven't had a chance to play around with Skull Merchant myself yet, but I always like to play around with perks that certain Killers can get particular, if not unique use out of. For example, how Spirit can see Spies from the Shadows alerts while phasing, or Oblivious perks on the Doctor since being Oblivious doesn't prevent Survivors being hit by Static Blast. Dying Light on Plague since her power negates the boosted healing granted to the Obsession. Hubris on Wraith since Lightburn counts. That sort of thing.

Has anyone found any such perks for the Skull Merchant yet?

Some off the cuff ideas might be Dissolution to complement the Ultrasonic Trap Speaker, Obsession-specific or Obsession-swapping perks since, iirc, the Obsession appears larger on her radar.

Quality of perk is not particularly relevant here. Once I have a chance to play her I'll see what I can find for myself, but also wondering what, if anything, others have noticed.

Basekit not really besides putting a drone on a dropped item with Franklin's and maybe Hex: Face the Darkness and maybe you got lucky and they scream while trying to disarm a drone for a free lock-on but with addons there's a lot more yes.

Geographical Readout stacks with Bamboozle, Brutal and the like.

Overcharge pairs will with Shotgun Speakers.

    Lethal with Advanced Movement Prediction.

Dissolution for some redundancy with Ultrasonic Trap Speaker.

One I thought of while messing around in bot games: Iron Grasp and/or Agitation, for when you want to make sure you hook a Survivor away from a well-placed Drone.

Dissolution works on your terror radious, if you are in your drone zone it doesnt work.

I could say just 3gen perks.

Lethal Pursuer and that addon that show auras.

Also possible an "imposibble" skillcheck between addon+ Hex: Huntres lullsby+ Overcharge.

But no, i cant think of something like "discordance on nemesis lure zombies" level.

Chase perks are pretty effective on her. Running brutal strength, fire up and the action speed add-on is super fun for super fast pallet break especially if you corral them into a dead zone with your drones

Since she’s so good at holding a 3 gen she can get great value out of fire up that not many killers can

Hence pairing it with the Ultrasonic Trap Speaker. The Speaker gives you Dissolution's effect within the field, Dissolution works on its own otherwise. A bit redundant, as noted, but it turns any pallets into a much more dangerous loop than normal.

If Dissolution only works on your Terror Radius, isn't there an add-on that makes her drones emit their own Terror Radius? Does that count for Terror Radius perks like Coulrophobia and Unnerving and Overwhelming Presence, or is it just a fake Terror Radius like Doctor's?

since drones whos radius is within a certain radius of a hooked survivor go away, any carrying perk is good (agi, mad grit, iron grasp) to ensure you dont lose a drone in a good area for a while.

Haven't been able to try it much but knockout might be pretty good on her.

If you have a active drone near a slug you can track them and get alerted when another survivor comes to resque them.

I think she might just in general be pretty good for tactical slugging for that reason

Need to test it out more though but i think it's a better strategy then trying to 3 gen

New idea: Hex: Thrill of the Hunt

Rather than Gen defense, use drones for Totem defense. PIck a Hex or two, put drones by them in order to monitor if a Survivor goes for them. When one of them gets a Claw Trap see if it's a drone by a hex if it is, beeline it. TotH can buy you the time to get there before they finish the cleanse.
