I have gotten adept 2x on Skull Merchant and a couple of other killers. Is this a known bug? Happened on GF and now 2x on SM. Survivor seems fine.

    They changed it one or 2 patches ago. Killers just need to get the 4k with their 3 own perks. The grade doesn't really matter now. Unless I'm missing something I've quit bothering with adepts myself.

    That is what I thought as well. I have done the following:

    • equipped the characters 3 individual perks
    • no one escapes
    • double pip'd

    Interesting, i lack GF and SM. Can't get it on either Killer.

    Did another match with SM. 12 individual hooks, didn't camp, and pretended the hook was a timebomb and I needed to get to a 40-meter safe distance. Still no golden grape goodness.

    This may sound weird, but put her perks in alphabetical order. I've heard that is a thing. I wouldn't know for sure, as I AM OCD about such things already so my perks are already in alphabetical order, however I also had no problem getting Adept Dredge after the patch. So it might work.

    Adepts have been buggy ever since they changed them 😑

    AND DCs will ruin your adept, which is hugely unfair.

    You can camp if you want, double pip is not required anymore. Just 4 kills no matter what.

    and yeah, adepts have been buggy for some time now, though this latest patch should have fixed some instances of that and I don’t know if there are any specific scenarios where they are not counted.

    I did this (painstakingly) with Knight twice. First time 4k'd but for some reason only got brutal killer despite double pipping. Second game (with perks set out in the 'correct' order) 4k'd, merciless killer, double pipped, no trophy. Took me hours for nothing and was incredibly pissed.

    Skull merchant adept didn't work for me first try either but second try did work out and got the achiement this on console.

    Thanks for your responses. I have 4K'd in 5 games now and double pip'd. I am going to try the alphabetical perk suggestion.
