A team game where your teammates are against you.

This game already has his frustrating moments but 1 thing I will never understand is when your teammates actively sabotage you. We are already playing against the killer lol.

We are working towards the same goal and yet you decide to screw over your teammates and it's not going to benefit you anyway.

I get it that sometimes you run the killer into someone by accident it happens I'm talking about when people do it intentionally. I also understand the it's 'me or you' mentality, but when you think about it you need your teammate to be alive to have higher chances to survive unless you're depending on that slim chance of finding the hatch.

I mean, its an unranked online party game. Not everyone is doing the objective or cares if they escape.

I just play casually for maybe 10 hours a week. I could care less if I win, lose, get tunneled out, get slugged, etc. Its a video game that's intended to be fun, not my livelihood.

Some Survivors Are: Playing with new builds seeing how perks interact, only completing Tome / Daily Challenges, Barely paying attention and talking to their friends on discord / XBL Party (not full swf), Trying to "befriend the killer", Away from their screen getting a drink, etc. etc. etc. You aren't going to get competent (or even present) teammates every game, so don't be surprised if people start griefing for fun.

Sometimes, when you get bored its fun to throw a pebble at a teammate that's healing or Red Herring an injured /death hook teammate that's working on a gen. Maybe run empathy and lead the killer to someone that's healing.

Idk man. Sometimes the real killer is your teammates.

I'm sure everyone has those games but it doesn't happen often when your teammates try to sabotage you.

I've had teammates that always run the killer to you and try blocking you in corners when you are removing a hex.

A tourist and his guide are walking through the savannah when they spot a lion hunting them.

The guide bends down and tightens up his shoe laces, when the tourist chimes in "you won't be able to outrun a lion"

The guide replies "I don't need to out run the lion... just you"

    Welcome to DBD.

I've seen it happen when you open a chest someone else apparently wanted, you ran a killer at them (intentionally or otherwise) so they're holding you up for the killer, etc. I've been known to annoy the hell out of someone who unhooks me while I'm trying to leave the trial.

Usually just play chill, grab what points you can, then gg next. Best way to play solo queue these days.

Your Teammates don´t try to kill you every match.

    Sometimes they just are:

    • afk
    • trying to get the unhook yourself achievement without Deliverance
    • doing a archives challenge to escape through the hatch
    • having connection problems
    • guarding that pallet at the other end of the map
    • having problems hitting that skill check while drinking and eating
    • having a nap
    • trying to kill you because you´re solo

Or the attempt to self unhook right before the teammate arrives.
