Can we remove mist offerings in killer bloodwebs please?

Its such a waste of bloodpoints to get offerings as Killer which are thickening the mist. I don't see any use for that, it's hurting the killer more than the survivor.
Some will say that pig, wraith and beartraps benefit for that. But I disagree.

Pig: crouching is something u shouldn't do the whole time, it's a situational thing to remove the heartbeat near a gen to get the surprise uncrouch.

Wraith: if u run straight to a gen without LOS blocks even mist won't help you. Learn to sneak to a gen and uncloak behind something.

Traps: I never run into a trap which was covered by mist, I only run into traps which are hidden in not obvious spots on grass.

Freddy: most wasted BPs in his bloodweb lmao

All other killers aren't benefiting from that, it harms them more.

Overall not usable.
(We should also get a purple offering version which lessens the mist. EDIT: Nevermind, forget this idea)

I could get behind that. But for the last part: that is already basically a thing. A clear is equal to two faints. It's more powerful than a thickening offering, but it's just common quality. It's equal to a hazy, basically. I think adding another purple one would only exacerbate the clutter.

I didn't knew that, I thought a clear offering is as powerful as a normal thickening offering. Yeah I agree with you, no need to add a purple version in this case

Agree, whenever I am forced to spend like 6k BP on a purple mist add on because it's the last thing on my blood web it's awful. I have so many thickening mist offerings on all my killers that I will absolutely never use. If we only got lessening the mist offerings in the killer blood web that would be so much better.

Fog is hella good for Wraith.

Splinters need to go too.I got about 20 on each killer just from the gift boxes. Common bp offerings also polluting the bloodweb. You're spending 3000 bp for 1000bp in return in a best case scenario.

They should also remove ‘lessening the mist’ for survivors. Better yet, they should allow you to burn offerings/add-ons for a small rebate on bloodpoints. I have HUNDREDS of add-ons and offerings that I will NEVER use.

Good survivors will still see you. You're just making it harder for you to find them. I've never had trouble tracking a killer. Wraith, Myers, Pig, Freddy. Doesn't matter if you understand what a killer is doing and how they path they are easy as hell to spot. I can count on 1 hand how many times a stealth killer got the jump on me in the last like 6 months, and most of them were tier 1 Myers with M&A.

Thicker fog always hurts the killer more. There really is no valid reason to ever use them.

To this I say no. I offer clear fog if I've been going against a lot of baby killers or if the killer in previous games had a rough time. Kinda of like a peace offering to the killer.

Yes exactly what I said, it hurts the killer more than it is helpful.

I wouldn't even mind if they still existed, the part about them that annoys me is that they seem to have really low priority to be consumed on the bloodweb regardless of their cost.

If you have 2 nodes on the web that could be taken, one is a rare add on, and the other is a very rare mist or +/- hook/chest offering, the entity will destroy the add on and force you to spend more points on an offering you will probably never use. In almost any other case where the type is the same (both add ons or both offerings) the higher rarity is prioritised to be taken.

If the offerings are programmed as though they are 'less desirable' then they shouldn't cost more to take than the more desirable add ons.

Honestly, pretty much all of the common offerings seem a little unnecessary now. Back towards the start of the game it was nice to have all the small offerings, but now it's extremely cluttered and they don't feel like they have enough of an effect on the game to spend bp on. I feel like they should take out the current common offerings and replace them with something different. I haven't given any thought to what those might be though

That doesn’t help your team much though does it? If you’d like to help the baby killer out maybe you’re better off running No Mither 🙂

Faint offerings should be removed from consoles.
FPS is already ######### for killers and this offer make it worse.

I love mist offerings for certain killers. Nurse, Hag, legion, spirit, and Wraith all use them and benefit from them. So does the trapper with his traps.

DO NOT remove them, because I love using them as a killer.

Lmao did you just said that nurse benefits from thick mist offerings? I'm dying, I need emergency! Help me

The mist/fog doesn't work the way they vaguely explain it in-game.

While you can see certain surfaces and textures from a distance, it's possible for survivors to disappear into it just a few meters away from you when it's thick enough, but it's never consistent.

Agreed it's a wasted offering for killers.
