The Gen is Highlighted YELLOW

Yeah just wanted to point out something that kind of bothers me. We got a perk 11 chapters back, that released with PyramidHead aka The Executioner called Trail of Torment. Basically you kick a Gen, become Undetectable until…

  • Survivor is injured or downed
  • Gen stops regressing

and during that time, THE GEN YELLOW AURA IS REVEALED TO ALL SURVIVORS.

So…I was kind of hopeful that more survivor and Killer perks would reveal yellow Gen auras to survivors. To be fair, survivor is doing pretty good so far…Wiretap, Situational Awareness, Rookie Spirit, Blast Mine.

Killers though? Isn’t it still just ToT? I mean I know Killers can have more perks that show Yellow gens but I mean ones where the survivor can see Yellow Gens.

I was hoping we’d have more Killer perks that could do this by now and it would be a bit more of a confusing mess of guessing which perk the Killer has or wondering if it was a Survivor perk. As it stands, people will know your running ToT immediately.

At least make gens sitting in SM active drone zones as highlighted yellow, at least she could get some solid value from this perk. I mean you’re not Exposed by ToT, the Killer is just Undetectable, is it really such a crime to want more perks to help blend in this tactic into my Killer builds?

    I think it'd be interesting if Overcharge and Call of Brine highlighted gens in yellow to survivors, to highlight their increased regression that needed to be stopped.

    I find that having the yellow aura of Generators revealed to players is honestly a good thing, since Trail of Torment lets you use Dragon's Grip with it and the aura is basically baiting Survivors in.

    Trail of torment shouldn't be notified to survivors.

    Neither should overcharge (or any survivors perks like wiretap).


    Just learn to play instead of asking for more assistance.

    Would like a trap like perk working off this (yes we have dragon's grip but we want more).

    Notice how nobody asked to see the auras of the affected gens, especially with Trail of Torment (there was actually a large fuss around TOT doing just that because it was too handholdey) like you're just making up arguments here
