Do you hum when you chase or get chased?

Genuine question. Am I the only one that whistles or hums the killer's chase music when I chase or get chased? Please tell me I'm not the crazy one 😐

I do not but I do something weirder...

    I count

I have no idea why. It gives me no advantage or useful information. I'm not counting the heartbeats or something to know when the killer is about to hit me. There's no reason for me to count.

But it's been a weird habit of mine and not one I expect to break. Mainly I suppose because I'm not really trying to break it cause it seems harmless to me.

I sometimes do that, if I really like the music.

I... actually count sometimes too because...brain things, I guess. I want to say it is a kind of "grounding" technique for me, but I'm not sure if that's the right word for it or not, but its something I have caught myself doing outside of video games as well.

That's not crazy at all, Bot_salvo <3 I don't hum per se, but I may get sing-songy with some of the Killer chase music, its just hard not to. And sometimes just being weird/silly with survivor too when working on gens, or cleansing/blessing totems, I'll make up something and sing/hum/vibe with it lol.

Only when I'm playing Huntress, it's super infectious.

Oh, and sometimes Legion. That theme is just too much of a banger not to, I've lost chases due to simulating headbanging with my mouse lol

I think it's because when I pick someone up as a killer, I count out loud as well (so I know if the meddling kid on my shoulder has a chance to wiggle off) and for some reason, I just moved that habit over to the survivor side even though it makes no real sense

I do this weird sort-of whistling thing as Nemesis when chasing. Also a lot of head-bopping when playing as and against Wesker, Nemesis and Legion, but also to the default tracks.

I only took me getting slightly nauseous from it to notice I was doing the latter at all.
