Alert against Freddy...

So Alert only works against ol' Fishface when you're in the Dream world. Any thoughts on making it work, regardless of whether you're in the DW or not?

    No. Freddy is special when it comes to auras. Stuff like OOO actually benefit him. Rancor is great for him because the obsession probably won't even know until the last gen pops. Take that away and you take away a major part of his kit.

    That said, whenever we get a rework, as I'm sure he will be more powerful as a result, I'm fine with allowing survivor aura perks to work on him when awake. Rancor, however, should stay as it is. It's a very unique interaction that shouldn't be lost.

    I mean your down one perk vs a freddy thats hardly a problem. If anything your self care gets a massive buff allowing you to escape the killer easily or at the very least let you prolong the chase. 

    There are so many perks that get stronger around freddy for example unbreakable and adrenaline take you out of the dream state. When your against freddy provided no one messes up really badly its practically a free win.

    Little differences like that between killers helps to break up repetitiveness and encourage switching up loadout. Just as each has unique weaknesses,  they also need the little benefits to shake things up.

    Ah, I don't use Self-Care. Don't like relying on it like a crutch. But aye, the whole Alert thing isn't a massive problem. Just makes the perk a little useless against him.
