Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I've been lugging around this losing build for a while just for that 1 in 4 game hubris value.

Maybe don't run it on deathslinger? His walk speed is so slow. And if you miss that one shot then you definitely wont get the exposed hit. He suits that build very badly.

Also suggest running it with spirit fury. You'll get way more downs that way.

Hubris is a weird perk, Once Survivors see it they predrop for the rest of the match.

I love enduring, hubris, and spirit fury. It's kind of my favorite combination as killer if I just want a fun lil build. You don't always get good value, especially a good team that'll predrop, but when it does it's so sweet.

It works until the survivor pre drop every pallet then the build becomes unviable.

My issue with Hubris is that, to get value you need to be stunned by a healthy Survivor, when most stuns are performed by injured survivors

That's why the only killer I've tried Hubris on is Wraith, because Lightburns count and are one form of stun as likely to be done be healthy survivors as injured. Even then, though, the one time I really got value out of it was stopping a key escape after a pallet stun.

Oh, I know it's a terrible build, it's just for those super-sweet Hubris hits every now and again. I wish I was recording when a Survivor got a flashbang rescue (rescue means stun) but I got the shot to back of the healthy running Survivor and reeled him in for the 1-shot.

^ Yeah this is what makes it a bad perk. You get 1, maybe 2 procs if you're lucky and then never again. Even when it does proc, rarely are you able to capitalize within its small duration. You are also committing almost your entire perk list for this as well. A perk that looks a lot better than it works out in reality.

Actually shalo... I might give that build a try with a few Killers, I didn't think of throwing in Spirit Fury, but it makes sense now that I see it.

I have to agree about giving it a go on other Killers that are a bit quicker, but at the same... I get its use 100% on Deathslinger! Its definitely one of those things where it may not pay off every match... or two... or five... but when it does... *chef's kiss* kinda like me throwing down random bear traps that actually catch survivors once in a while, or that match you get all 5 Devour Hope stacks; its such a great feeling!

even using Billy with the pig house gloves add on, brutal strength and enduring i still can't get them most of time. Hubris expose window is to short. The perk very bad! The over amount hype it receive on release really sucker me into using it.
