See title. Me and my friends used to play the game a fair bit but ever since it's been revealed that the game has been leaking your IP address and made it possible to get DDos attacks or even doxxed, we've been looking elsewhere. Are there any status updates that indicate people have been working to patch this out of the game or help with overall security or will I need to actually either invest in a VPN or put voodoo curses that will affect people trying to get my info?

    The same exact thing that has been done in the past years.

    Absolutely nothing and ignoring the problem until it goes away on its own.

    Considering the fact that the BHVR dev team has known about this security vulnerability since 2019 and they still haven't patched it out, I don't see this as ever being fixed.

    The Devs will do something once a big streamer threatens to stop streaming DBD.
