Why are we bring back infinites?
So there's 2 new infinites on the red forest and I just had a good survivor show me the infinite on Haddonfield. Why is BHVR bringing back infinites?

But they were getting better for a while but I agree lately its been bad. Though infinites are a whole different level of problem because it literally makes the survivor invincible.

I posted in the feedback section when the Red Forest rework went live. I'm not sure how these designs are being approved in year 7. They must have relatively new devs at every level of the process. It's the only explanation I can think of. The balance on Red Forest, especially main building, is even worse after the rework.

The worst part is it was the only realm I would of said favored the killer and now all 3 are completely survivor sided. I've been lucky enough not to play huntress on the rework.

there's BEEN infinites, including the macmillan main.....

Those aren't infinites. An infinite means you can't bloodlust or get widow blockers because you lose chase. On Haddonfield there's that one house with a door and a gen with the window right behind it if you jump the window and go left you can see the killer either way and lose chase. I've played when infinites were a thing and these are real infinites no breakable walls or anything like that.

Agreed, the game is probably one of the worst for God pallets. In no situation should there be such safe pallets and the game has at least 5 that can't be mindgamed. Terrible design team

It's always been a bit too big. And now it has a ton of clutter with bushes and trees. They all have massive collision zones. Makes Wesker and Billy super painful.

Just played my first match as huntress on temple and 90% of the map negates my power.

I remember when the game was a killer sided map just because of the size. They went and added to many pallets and way to many safe pallets at that.

There's also at least 1 actual infinite in the Skull Merchant camp on Shelter Woods now too.

Are you referring to the extremely strong window in the tent with that tall fence covered in mesh next to it?

That's red forest relem?

A few safe pallets are totally fine in my opinion. But the Game has like 15 pallets that can't be mindgamed, not just five.

the game is a super small map that requires the killer to change his tactic.

They just don’t play the game enough to understand problems that they are creating when they make changes. BHVR could easily recruit a group of volunteers that actually play the game and would happily test out changes for free. I guess they might have to worry about leaks but I don’t see why some things like minor map design changes would be something to worry about leaking.
Also, we have the PTBs which should catch these issues but for some reason a lot of broken things from PTBs get incorporated into the live game

It's not "super small" if you take the verticality into account.

yo 3 story map jump from third story take a helthstate

Yeah. If I chase survivors there I lose chase no matter what so the window never blocks.

question. Why are you happy with 5 safe pallets but unhappy with 15 pallets? isn't the more the merrier?.
old haddonfield coming back to its roots. 3 houses with all with infinities. Now all they need to do is restore house of pain windows and put the god pallet on bottom floor. At least the map is no longer hide and seek like old one so finding survivors is easier. Chasing them is another story though.

We’re they? Eyrie rework was alright but otherwise all the maps have either stayed the same or got worse

I would say it's right about that time it started going bad.
