Isn't Oni going to need a total rework if proposed PTB changes go live?
If the proposed changes for PTB go to the live servers, what will they do with Oni? Wouldn't he need a total rework, due to the across the board healing nerfs?

Frankly, I don't think so.

If you don't heal against Oni he'll get his power faster, but you're already injured and so you would go down instantly anyway.
And if you don't heal, while he will be getting lots of blood off the floor, he can't gain half his power instantly by hitting a healthy survivor if everyone is already injured.
He'll pretty much play the same, maybe just getting his power a bit faster.

Don't feed him his power 10 seconds into the match and you should be fine

If survivors taking longer to heal does make Oni problematic, you wouldn't need a total rework to fix it. You can just increase the frequency of blood orb drops or reduce the amount of blood orbs dropped.

In power Oni is one of the strongest Killers in the game.

That's hard to say. Some of his addons could maybe use some slight nerfs (the ones that spawn more blood orbs) but other than that I think he'll be mostly fine.

Once Oni starts getting hits/downs/hooks he gets his power pretty quickly and consistently. Heck even the act of healing leaves a massive amount of blood orbs for him so it really isn't as good of a counter as some people think it is.
Oni's main weakness is his early game and getting his power the first time and this will remain unchanged.
