Is there a way to play this game with only one hand?

Joke(ish) topic, but it would be useful for whenever my cat hijacks me mid-game and I'm not allowed to use my both hands (because I have to use one to hold his adorable little butt or else he falls). But in all honesty now, this made me curious... Is there a way for one-handed people (for whatever reason) to play the game (or games, broadly speaking)?

Thankfully I am able to use both whenever my cat allows me to do so, but for people who actually need it, is there a way to toggle some kind of simplified controls? I'm guessing not, but I had to ask. I've just been hijacked for the bazillionth time since I came back to play the game on pc and it's quite difficult to keep playing it once it happens. And don't you dare say 'just put the cat on the floor'. Everyone knows their will must be followed. Until they decide to just start biting your arm or something like that.

If you have a mouse with 15 buttons you could bind every button to movement, controls and actions

Game controllers for amputees exist. They have adapters to fit any console.

I'm glad to read this. I never learnt of them before, but it sure feels good to know that there is a way for everyone to enjoy gaming.

@Rulebreaker I'm not so good at using my feet to play. Truth is I've never tried, but I know how clumsy I am, so I don't think it would work xD

@Bot_Salvo88 darn, that sounds even harder to play than mouse & kb with one hand only.

I had wrist surgery a couple years ago that took one of my hands out of commission for a while. I don’t have too many extra buttons on my mouse but I basically bound one to shift+w and another to space and that worked pretty well for playing survivor. I never tried playing killer that way though.

OhTofu finally managed to get Adept Bubba (before the change) one handed. He explains how he did it one handed prior to the actual showing of the attempt. So, even if you don't stay for the entire video, he very well answers your initial question!

That's actually amazing. I'll have to check and try a few custom matches to see how I perform, but the skill it takes to do that... I mean, this OhTofu video... He plays with one hand more efficiently then I play with both. Thanks, people.

Rapidmain recently made a video where he was playing very successfully on Billy using only a flight simulator joystick with one hand.

Pretty sure there is even specific input devices for feet as well as the controllers suited for amputees that already got mentioned.
