Billy Engravings nerf
I know the devs probably won’t respond to this discussion. But if you want the people to stop talking about Billy revert the nerfs to the engravings and gaining heat when sprinting. If you want to nerf engravings here’s what you should do.
Make doom engravings basekit so you don’t need to run the addon that much. Make Billy’s default chainsaw sprint 250% from 230% so he’s more strong without the addon. But keep his charge time 2.50 seconds. Then nerf the engravings.
- Hillbilly’s movement speed in chainsaw sprint is 250%(was 230%)
- Doom Engravings-increases movement speed during sprint by 10%(was 20%). Increases charge time of chainsaw by 10%(was 12%). Decreases amount of heat gained from charging the chainsaw by 10%(was 14%).
- Death Engravings-Increases movement speed during sprint by 5%(was 15%). Increases charge time of chainsaw by 10%(was 12%). Decreases amount of heat gained from charging the chainsaw by 10%(was 14%).
Bam right here, I just fixed hillbilly. This is all you have to do then just rework his godawful addons.

On top of what you said I would remove overheat, and reduce the stun from bumping into objects to 3 seconds.
Missing a chainsaw is punishment enough for misuse of your power, over-heat is over-kill.

I would honestly keep the overheat but completely change it so it only affects reving and starting.
It should be where as soon as you start sprinting the overheat resets to 0. Then when you rev you gain heat.

Literally those changes would make double engravings worse than BHVRs proposed nerfs to engravings. Doom engravings base kit would not be 230+20 from the addon it would be 230x1.2 which is 276 because its a percentage increase. If that was the base speed then those changes you proposed could get by.

I'm guessing they didn't like how double engravings were looking. I think it could be worth going more ms but higher charge time to encourage just running one. So maybe the MS would be either 25 or 20%. Time required for saw increased to 20%. And then heat to 10%.
