Best "proxy camping" killers and playstyles, builds?
Not a fan of the Blight, Wesker, Nurse chase, chase, chase playstyles when I do play killer it's not fun and quite stressful. I mostly enjoy Trapper, Hag, Knight for example although I don't like the three gen strategies it's super unfun for both sides. I also don't like Bubba facecamping playstyles. Sometimes a three gen happens anyway but just protect three close gens from start..no!
So with that out of the way "proxy camping" is a viable strategy that suits me well when I take a break from my survivor games (play 90% survivor). Playing Knight for example guards can make it more easy to find survivors coming for the unhook and it's also nice to put down a guard just as unhooking takes place to start two chases at once. Plus with the yellow addon making guards go longer distance you can "proxy camp" while kicking nearby gens with guards. I find Deadlock to always be a useful perk with this playstyle it buys me time.
Doctor can be good preventing the unhook with shocks to take a survivor to second hook stage. What are your "proxy camping" strategies? What killer do you use and are you succesful getting kills with this playstyle?

Trickster is an incredible proxy camper if your aim is decent. You can down two survivors in a single clip. Plus Main Event is always a factor. I don't set out to use that playstyle every game, but it's Trickster and sometimes you have to play the map you're dealt.

Yeah I have played against such Tricksters he seem to be very good at that. Playing on console Trickster is a killer I do avoid though 😀 Quite hard to master with controller.

Clown can interupt an unhook if you directly hit the survivor. He also has pinky finger addon which is insane for camping.

Trickster is kind of an underrated character when it comes to camping.
I feel like a lot of people think of Bubba when it comes to camping, since ya know, he can confirm kills, so it often just leads to people leaving the person on hook because there is often just no hope in rescuing them. Which is why I am a firm believer that Bubba sucks at camping since it removed the most important aspect of camping: pressure.
But with Trickster, everyone just thinks that he is bad at camping because you have to hit multiple knives, but he can quickly snowball into multiple downs if people arent careful, especially with Main Event. In this weird way, he is so bad that he Tricks(ter) people into thinking he cant camp effectively, but it's the reverse.
