Is green flashlight better than purple?

I heard a green flashlight + two batteries addons is better than any purple flashlight, is that true?

Or is there a way to make the purple flashlight as good or better than the green one?

    I get saves with any flashlight regardless of color. Many of the stats on flashlights are pretty much inconsequential in my experience. It's about timing, not stats. In the past it mattered because there were different mods on flashlight that could pretty much lead to insta blinds, but those were nerfed long ago.

    Right so duration is most important? And I guess green flashlight + batteries has the longest duration?

    Actually. No. Purple flashlights will always be better, their stats are just higher. If you run double batteries on a purple one it will simply last longer than a green one. Wherever you got this information from, don't trust them.

    The purple flashlight has 4 extra charges (12 vs 8), while the green has a 11% decreased battery consumption rate.

    Maybe the decreased battery consumption is better when combined with the battery addons?

    Double batteries are a waste. Either go for:

    1. Battery + Range (Lens addon).

    2. Purple flash + Battery + Blind length duration (Odd Bulb or Broken Bulb)

    3. Range * 2 (Both Lens addons)

    4. Blind length duration * 2 (Odd bulb and Broken Bulb) and Purple flashlight.

    Personally my favourite is 1 and 4 (But Broken Bulbs are event addons u might not have).

    You're mixing up what you heard. The idea is green is better with a battery and the filament thing rather than 2 batteries while the purple is better with two batteries rather than a filament.
